July 2026 SERIES
One great reason for memorizing Scripture is to be prepared for moments when eternal things are at stake. Just as the Apostle Peter tells us to “always be ready to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.” (1 Peter 3:15)
I think about that verse often, and it’s why I’ve been so excited about this next series: the Romans Road.
This month, our goal is simple: equip ourselves with key passages of Scripture that help us share the gospel clearly and faithfully.
Everyone has sinned.
The wages of sin is death.
The Son of God died in the place of sinners.
And all who call upon His name will be saved.
These verses will remind us that we are more sinful than we ever dared to admit, but more loved in Christ than we could ever imagine.
We memorize them because souls matter. Heaven and Hell are real. And the world is full of people trying to be saved by effort, success, morality, self-help, or false religion.
But only Jesus saves.
You don’t need the perfect illustration, argument, or wit. We have something far better than our opinion to offer. We have the true and living Word of God. It is enough.
